Marko Tkalcic

I am Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen (Italy). My research interests are in exploiting psychologically motivated constructs, such as personality and emotions, to improve recommender systems and personalized systems in general.

As of January 2016 I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Free University of Bolzano (Italy) in the group led by Francesco Ricci.

My Erdös number is 3.

From 2013 to 2015 I was working at the Department of Computational Perception at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria, where I worked with Markus Schedl and Gerhard Widmer.

Prior to that I was with the Laboratory for digital signal processing of the University of Ljubljana Faculty of electrical engineering.
